SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Sharks placed defenceman Rob Blake on injured reserve with an undisclosed upper-body injury Thursday.
The team also recalled defenceman Derek Joslin from Worcester of the American Hockey League.
Blake was injured during the second period of Wednesday’s game in Columbus. He is the team’s captain and has one goal and five assists this season.
Joslin appeared in two games with the Sharks earlier this season.
