The Penticton Tigers won one of three games at the B.C. 18-and-over AAA Baseball Championship in Victoria on the weekend.

The Tigers were eliminated from contention with round-robin losses to South Fraser 6-3 Thursday and regular-season champs Cowichan Valley 1-0 on Friday.

Penticton finished on a winning note by beating the host Victoria squad 7-4.

Vancouver Island Mariners ended up winning the championship.
