The Kamloops Venom continued to have their way with the South Okanagan Flames.

Trey Deregousoff logged three goals and three assists and Kordell Primus also produced a hat-trick as the Venom beat the visiting Flames 11-5 in Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League play Saturday.

Drew Bannister added two goals and four assists as the Venom beat the Flames for the sixth time in as many meetings this season.

Mason Suppanz scored twice and Jordan Bunce one for the Venom (10-2-0), who have already clinched first place in the three-team league.

Keegan Allen with two, Ben Olsen, Jake Macleod and Carson Shorteed scored for the Flames (4-7-1).

Kamloops led 3-2 and 5-4 at the period breaks before busting loose to outscore the visitors 6-1 in the third.

The Flames host the Vernon Tigers (3-8-1) Monday night at 7:30 p.m. and welcome the Venom to Memorial Arena for the regular season finale Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Kamloops will get a bye in the first round of the playoffs while the Flames and Vernon do battle in the semifinal. As of now, the Flames will have home advantage in that series.
