The Oliver Tourism Association has been given another three-year term to market the area.

Directors on the board of the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen voted Thursday to renew a lapsed agreement to provide $28,000 a year for the service from Area C. The Town of Oliver chips in an identical amount.

The cash is used to run the Oliver Visitor Information Centre and entice visitors to the area.

According to information supplied by the association, the centre receives approximately 13,000 visitors annually and has assumed operation of the annual Festival of the Grape.
