A motorcyclist is dead after crashing his bike Saturday night near Oliver.
Police say the rider, whose name hasn’t been released, was travelling north on Highway 97 in the area of Enterprise Way when he lost control on a curve and left the road.
The man was transported to Penticton Regional Hospital with serious injuries and died early Sunday.
Both the B.C. Coroners Service and RCMP South Okanagan Traffic Services are assisting the Oliver detachment with the investigation.
It was the second fatal motorcycle accident in the Oliver area in just over a week.
A 44-year-old man died June 7 after his bike collided with another while out for a ride on Fairview Road.
